[Bass House] Pipe Dream

By Mortistar on April 9, 2018 12:01 am

It's that time of the week again, apart from this time I had to request an upload link from one of the mods because I fell asleep like an absolute spoon. Hopefully it's worth it though because this is possibly of the more adventurous things I've attempted in a while. I'm quite shocked I managed to finish this in a week since like most EDM stuff, it's a right P.I.T.A to mix/master and requires a ton of work to get right. Here's hoping I made a track to a commercial standard though! Thank you for listening, tell me what you think, and as always, I'll see you next week! heart

This has a certain appeal to it.

Lol, this is great. I'm really enjoying how you're implementing chip elements in all these different electronic genres. Tasty mix, as usual heart

This is so pro!  I love this!  This needs to be in a major motion picture ASAP.  Great job on the mix.

Questions: What did you make this in?  How did you make the chip elements?

AHW YISS! This is grand, straight up my alley big_smile

When that bass comes in! Those voice samples (Hey! Hey!), simply infectious melodies and pro mix. heart Instant favourite ^_^

Forgot to tag it once again, but this was in FL Studio wink The chip elements come moreso from a design perspective rather than any sorta software. It's as simple as choosing a triangle, or any of the 3 types of square wave and working from there. Adding colour with reverb and delay and such.

Ayyy I might have to churn out more EDM for you heart Dunno if the Hey's will stay, they're pretty dated production wise lmao

As long as there's chiptune involved, it'll never be the dark side.
